How high do you jump?

Highest I did with my mare (she was learning too!) was 3ft 1 inch (she has rotation of her pedal bones now so we have to limit it)...and about the same with my little superstar of a gelding before her.
I've lost confidence now as I've not jumped in so long so am schooling my YO's 16.3hh ID mare who can apparently jump 5ft with ease so she can give me my confidence back! :)

Usually about 2ft, but sometimes 2ft6, usually in lessons :) i know it's small for all you eventers and BSJA jumpers, but the pony i ride isn't a big jumper, however he prefer the bigger jumps and he's GREAT!

I'll confidently do about oooooooh..............10" :D Little logs in the woods, with the emphasis on LITTLE. One day I'll confidently do about 18". I can do that now - just not confidently. Yet!

I think the highest ive jumped on G is 2ft. Think he could do higher, just need to work on our flatwork before we attempt higher jumps.:D

I did 1m 30 on my mare before her injury, and about the same on my 14.2hh and my 13.2hh, though courses of about 1m 10/ 1m 15.

Forgot to add - that jump I did scared the living daylights out of me and I think a trotting pole would get me shaking these days!! :D (maybe not but you know what I mean!)

Well about 2ft but I get tired after I have run up to it twice and it hurts if I catch my legs :D:D:D

Oh if you meant on a horse
about 8" on a cross pole,on a good day, after going green at the thought

Do I qualify for scope

Highest i've done on my 16.2hh is 1.35m as a single fence, but have done 1.10m courses with the odd 1.20m, however at the minute I'm doing up to about a metre as I need to work more on the collection and controlling the canter, as he is finding everything very exciting at the minute :p

Highest I've done on my 13.2hh is about 1.15m as a single fence, and used to do 1.10m courses, however now do about 90cm as I am big on her, and am just working on adjusting her strides etc. :D

1.20m is the highest iv jumped but stick to 2ft 9 these days as I haven't got a horse capable off going higher at the mo. But do enjoy a good gallop over the race hurdles up the track at home

When I was a teenager I had a 15 hand ArabxIrish Cob and we regularly jumped 5 feet which was his own height.
I've jumped 3' 6" on my boy in a recent training session but because I'm on my own at home I put the fences up at 3 feet and leave it at that.

As a teenager i remember jumping a full wing with my auntys horse, he was an ex show jumper :)
Nowadays its usually round the 3ft mark, probably jumped her around 3"6 down the woods, shes so much better at XC :) i am a wimp when it comes to jumping though and need to build myself up if i want to jump high. Mare relies on me for confidence!

I think the highest I've jumped is around a 2ft straight, and with cross poles the top hole is around 2ft. I still get nervous, but its improving! :D

out hunting in my youth god only knows what some of the big warks hedges are... and also the odd 5 and 6 bar gates etc

nowdays - i'm a whimp lol!

a year ago i'd about have a panic attack at 2'... yesterday i completed at 3' so we're getting better - we've done 1m and single fences are fine - but combinations of that height are a bit sticky at the mo for us

I have jumped about 1m40 on a friends Showjumper and it scared the living daylights out of me!!

On my boy i have jumped 3ft at home and 2'3" / 2'6" away but he is still learning about jumping bless him

Farra Clydesdale is fine over 2'6 and will go to 2'9 - not bad for a carthorse. She also loves to jump and will go and help herself if the jumps are left out in the school.

Stinky currently does up to 3'6 and I think will manage 4' as his muscle builds up (both have only been jumping since last October).

The highest I personally have jumped is 5'5 on a very experienced schoolmaster, but I regularly jumped 3'9 - 4'6 on one of my TBs in my younger days.

Nowdays, 3'6 - 4' is my max as I just don't bounce like I used to.

Not very hgigh as I'm horseless! But when I did at home about 2'6 maybe 3'. The highest I've jumped was at a chase me charlie when it went up to the top of the wings pretty much, years ago now, when I was fearless! Don't think I'll be doing that again soon!

ATM I am only jumping little logs only a few inches high out hacking due to lack of practice and confidence!

The biggest I have jumped has been hedges out bloodhounding. It's hard to tell how big they were as I never got off and stood next to them. I did give the biggest ones a miss - my horse was only little!

I jumped a couple of p2p fences that came up to my chin (I am 5') and I have teamchased at intermediate level where the rules state that no fixed fence can be over 3'9'', but hedges can be bigger. The biggest I've showjumped is about 3'6'', I find show jumps scarier than hedges!

The highest ever single fence I've jumped has been 3'9 and it scared me half to death to be honest. The biggest course has been 3'3 cross country (I LOVE cross country :) ) and 3'0 - 3'3 showjumping. I normally stick to 2'6 - 2'9 showjumping though. Not bad for a 14.1hh pony! :)

On my boy, i've jumped 1m20 as want to sort flatwork out first, and concentrate on smaller courses and getting used to him really :)
On my friends horse she had, done up to 1m50 and done a 1m20 course. She sold him so was gutted when I couldnt steal more shots :-P
