How do you think he is condition wise?

Apologies for his head down, but it was the only one I got that fitted the whole of him in :o

Too clean. :D

Weight wise, looks well.

I'm being careful not to say the b i g word ;)

If I could step into the photo I'd just do one thing, trim the bottom of his tail :D but that's not a criticism, that’s just me being scissor happy.

lol kenzo, it's alright, Big is beautiful :D

Think we need to do a lot more hacking to try and build up his bum, which is still catching up on his shoulder :)

I would trim his tail, but for the fact it hides his hock points, which vary from green to black in colour :o

Yes I see what you mean, but if he's only a young it will come in time, my lads bottom is only just starting to even out a bit, although to be fair he's not put together too well anyway, huge front end, huge shoulder, short back and not a lot going on behind but it's better than it was, you can see your lad still has chunky hocks and gangly back legs so he'll 'ripen' with age, better to underwork them than to get carried away just for the sake of what they look like I think sometimes.

he looks just right to me. And very, very clean. I have a bay and an iron grey that look dirtier than him. Brown horse has a tiny bum. Much smaller than your chaps. He'll even out eventually I hope. Doesn't help mine is very long, just seems to make it even more noticeable!

True, but any excuse for more hacking :p I agree, will probably come with time, as we are still rather gangly at the moment, and he needs to grow out a bit now!

lol Jesstickle, thats the benefit of a full combo rug, pity they don't do leg chaps too :p
Having a short back does have its advantages :)
