So sorry for doing this again, but I can't really tell how he is looking when I see him every day.

You can feel his ribs with light/no pressure (depending on how he's standing) and he has a slight gutter along his spine (but that could just be the amount of hair he has).

Thank you ever so much :)

He does look to have a bit of a belly and possibly a slight crest but i don't think he looks a bad weight to be going into winter with particularly if he's living out? I wouldn't want him any fatter but i don't think you have anything to worry about :)

Agreed, though I wonder if the crest is an optical illusion caused by fluff. Overall I don't think there's anything to worry about at this time of year, but I'd allow him to lose a little naturally over the winter so he's really slim coming into spring :)

Looking at the pictures, his weight looks ok, however, judging this just from pictures is notoriously difficult.
One of the main difficulties is monitoring changes in weight over time. How slow or how fast is he losing weight? You want to achieve a slow but steady weight loss, that stabilizes once he reaches his ideal weight. This in turn depends upon his workload, current body condition score, diet and changes in grazing time/season. You could use a dynamic diet calculator to check that you are on track with his weight on a weekly basis. As you say, tracking it day-to-day is almost impossible, as changes are so small we hardly notice them!

what breed is he? I would say he is a good 3 on the condition scoring, his neck looks cresty but that could be his breeding? Can't tell is theres a few fat pockets on his tummy, it could just be fluff :) I wouldn't be worrying about his weight with the weather about to turn though!
