How is his weight?

I got Scooby on loan on the 8th October. This is what he looked like then (after a clip):

How much more do you think I need to get off him? I'd rather he was on the lean side going into spring, because the minute that grass starts coming through he'll puff up like a balloon!

I agree he does need more muscle - he really doesn't engage his back end at all, just pulls himself along on his forehand, so we need to work on that. So you don't think he needs any more off before we go into spring?
 
In the current conditions I wouldn't worry too much about his weight. He looks about right and you'll be able to up his workload again soon and he'll soon tone up.

He's a lovely boy, you're very lucky getting a nice lad like that on loan. You've done a great job with his weight as well, he looks so much better.
