What do you think - any improvement? Comments on waist line etc appreciated :)

She is lovely but please grow her mane back as first of all its such a lovely colour and secondly its very very short at the mo. Her mane looks really nice in the first pic. I presume she rubs it?

Gorgeous girl though.

I would say if you're plaiting for events/shows the mane is fine. My boy looks like a zebra, but the manes not getting any longer cos it will take me an age to plait!

She looks lovely, what have you been doing/planning to do with her?

Hi Kaylum

No she doesn't rub it - but it is a horrendously thick mane, and I do need to plait for comps. It is a lovely colour - but we don't have long manes at our house!!:) What might look a bit like a rubbed bit at the bottom is from her rug that has a sheepskin bit at the withers, which very kindly made a mess of her mane over the winter! :(

Hi

what makes it even worse for plaiting is that is lies on the wrong side, which just makes starting plaiting it up difficult

I haven't been out to do anything recently, as I have been poorly sick, but we have been doing W&T & prelim dressage at the beginning of the year. She is lovely to take to comps, as she is so easy going when you get there - such a change to my previous mare!! :)

Unfortunately I need to reduce my numbers before winter - so I am looking to sell or loan her at the moment :( :( She is a super girl, and it is such a difficult decision to try to rehome her

Definite improvement weight wise! :p
And I LIKE the short mane :D

TBH she couldn't really have been much fatter in the pics of her lunging!! When I look at those now, I realise what a long way we have come, and I can't believe she was sooooo fat! She might not always appreciate her strict diet now, but I do think she feels a lot better for being a tad slimmer!

:) :)
