Not too long to wait now.... my mare is over 8 months in foal (due in April) and doing very well.

My girl is 9 months on Sunday, can't believe how quickly it's gone! will post some pics tomorrow, she is loooking very well although very furry!

Only by seeing the comparison that I realise how big she has got. This is her first foal and her field buddy is an established broodmare so always makes Evi look so trimline!
 
Gucci my photo of udders are still there... I'm wondering if it was photo bucket that actually deleted the photo? Is it still showing in your photo bucket account?

P.s saw the foal kick this morning! :) and wax looking clearer!
 
Tia is due on April 12th to Legrande :) can't wait! It will be her first foal. In some photos she doesn't look very big but her belly sways from side to side when she walks!

Please excuse the colour of her neck - it isn't dirty it just goes very dark in the winter (she is normally clipped and competing) and the fur turns black just before she moults. I've added photos of her looking gorgeous (in my opinion!) at just over 3 months in foal to show that she looks much better with her summer coat :)

OK Gucci - Bell's taken today at 316 days. getting slightly concerned as wax no longer honey coloured :/

I must say Whizz I enjoy all your picture updates! Your mare is very pretty, always so clean and with such a beautiful, full tail! My fields are quite wet at the moment and I am no longer rugging so mine are mud monsters at the moment unfortunately! :p

Thank you, I must admit I did have to wash her tail as she likes to wee and poo in it and wanted it to be semi clean for birth!

Ruby, love your mares markings! who is she in foal to? has she waxed up yet?

No wax yet. She is in foal to Co-Pilot,young coloured stallion at Freckleton Stud.
 
Everyones mares look so happy! Seren (aka Seri/Dippy!!:) ) is pretty happy but Melly is feeling very grumpy and jealous of the baby bump!!Poor Mels!
Ive posted these pics before, so sorry for boring the life out of you all!!
Dippy is due May 14th, and Ive just this week started to feel bump kicking :D She is ment to be a maiden - according to previous owner, and vet seems to think so too - but if she is then I'll eat my socks!
Anyway, enough rambling!!! These pics were taken a couple of weeks ago.

Aw love all the pictures, your mares look great :)

Mine is due beginning of June and I havent seen her since she was covered last July!! I found out I was pregnant myself shortly after having her covered so shes been on livery at the stud yard since, its a bit far for me to get over especially now as im due next month so no idea what she looks like at the moment :(:( Apparently she's verrry furry with living out over winter so will be strange to see her like that after saying goodbye to a lovely shiny Thoroughbred!!

The YO has said she will send me some photos this week I cant wait :D

I only have two pictures of my mare from just before Christmas, need to get a few more recent ones really :)
She's due around the 21st May and this was her then:

Excuse the mud! I thought she was quite small compared to some of the mares I had seen on stud placement last year, but now I see she isnt too bad :) Haven't seen or felt foal move yet but I can hope!

Edit: second picture from the side doesn't seem to come up..
 
I really need to get some piccies of Bloss as her belly has really dropped now. Shes ''due'' 18th April but last time she went 347 days so i should think she will foal around Easter weekend which would be nice :) Unfortunately its normally pitch black when im at the yard but will try and get some piccies next week of her. Saw baby kick last night, was being quite active actually, i love watching her belly to see if i can see foal moving. Even my very non horsey OH is getting a little bit excited now (although he pretends he dosent care, lol!) :D
 
Ok, now I'm worried. My mare is due anytime from February onwards (long story) and she is enormous, twice the size of any of the mares on here and the people who are keeping her to foal reckon she is not due for another 6 weeks :eek::eek::eek: She is going to go pop!
