How little hard fed does a big horse need

My TBs and WBs range between 16hh and 17.2hh and none of them are fed more than 2lbs hard feed per day. This is a tiny amount of hard feed but they are all on adlib quality hay so the feed is all but a token gesture to make sure they receive correct amounts of vitamins and trace elements.
