how long after swollen fetlock before working again

horse had heat and some swelling in hind fetlock wed am.it has been cold hosed and shes been rested and its now back to normal.she remained sound and i assume she tweaked it in the field and the grounds hard. i will keep a watchful eye but not sure how long i should give her before riding again.initially just in walk to ensure shes fine. i get very anxious re legs and she is fairly new to us

if its gone down and stayed down with no heat for a day or two (without needing to treat at all) then i'd be back on board as long as shes sound....
from what u've said i'd be riding her so dont worry, maybe if u dont want to ride her first off lunge or long rein and see how she copes wiht that ???
