How long after ?

Darcy is having her teeth done on Friday full service ,just wondered how long after do people wait to ride ? It was over a week for us last time as they where in such a state large hooks ulcerated gums.( we think they had never been done needed sedation ) I know how much pain ive been in after the dentist has been poking around so just wondering what you all do thanks x

I had the dentist out the other week, he said no need to wait at all before riding. Why not ask yours what he recommends?

Ask your dentist after they have treated your horse for their opinion for the best idea.

Last time mine had hers done, vet said she was ok to ride that day! No sedation though and hadn't had much done (I didn't ride btw). If on doubt, ask the vet or EDT as they will know how sore it's likely to be, having done the work!

I waited a few days (for my very own Darcydoo ) as she had some ulceration that needed to start healing. Ask your EDT they'll let you know.
