How long can they go out after jabs??

how long is it until aa puppy can go out for a walk?

After the vaccinations have been done?

Hi

It's usually 2 weeks after the second injection.

So that's first injection, wait 2 weeks, second injection, wait 2 weeks, go out socialising.

I am not sure with the walk within your garden or a bit further?
But I reckon, puppy have to complete their initial 3 jabs before meeting other dogs for a safer side.

Remember too that dogs don't 'need' 'walks' when they are little puppies, just to get socialised, learn lead manners, be out and about, see other dogs, people, cars etc - they don't really 'need' proper 'physical exercise' until 9-12 months, everything up to that is blowing off steam, training, socialising, thinking, exploring, learning etc.

When I said "walk" I don't mean a lot, she'll just be up the road, round the corner and down, 10 mins (15 at a very slow pace), just to get her out and about and seeing things.

Reason I asked was just one vet said one week after the final jab, and the other one said two. :S Was a tad confused.
