how long did you have out the saddle?

So yesturday I had an exploratory op to determine if i had endometriosis and why I was experinecing lots of discomfort, turns out its all IBS related and i need to start taking my diet a bit more seriously and eat properly by while I was under I was sterilised, (had my tubes clamped), was not expecting it to be as painful as it is and was wondering how long other people gave themselves out if the saddle after they ended there brood mare days? thanks

2 c-sections and back in the saddle at 5/6 weeks. Deep sitting trot hurt at first and I banged my scar on the knee rolls a few times dismounting, but it didn't feel any more sore than a day after an abs class.

Spinal surgery last year to fix a prolapsed disc, back on board after 6 weeks.

Im fully intending to be back in the saddle asap, only real consern is the stiches being so tight and tearing them, guess I'll leave it till the end of the week and see how it is, and have to very sneakily creep out while the other half isnt looking, if he had his way I'd be out for a bloody month lol!!

Just had this "debate" with my fella whilst trying to pick the boys feet and realising that actually that really hurts eeeek!!
