How long do soaked grass pellets keep?

This is possibly a question borne of over-thinking, but i'm wondering how long you'd use soaked grass pellets for after soaking them?

I like to pre-mix feed/supplement stuff for the week, and pre-soaking for, say, 7 days at a time would be ideal.

The soaking time on the bag is 2 hours cold/15 mins hot but it doesn't give an opinion as to when the soaked pellets should be used by.

Can they 'go off' as such?

I also feed 3 tbsp of salt per day, so wondering if I pre-soak and pre-mix with salt, if that mixture would be ok to keep until it is fed, or if the salt would mess with the grass pellets in some way.

Not grass pellets but at our yard, anyone who has soaked feed is making it fresh in this weather. In the winter, I leave my Copra overnight but at the moment, I'm doing it half an hour before.

I manage 16 hours for mine. But I have a old freezer for storing them which doesn’t heat up. So morning and night soaking. I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to soak feed more than 24 hours!

Depending on how much you need, but in our case, if I soak any in the heat I use a small bucket to soak the grass nuts, inside a freezer box with the ice block in there and put the lid on. It keeps them cool without altering the time for soaking. In the winter I do the same but without the ice block and it stops them from freezing.

Agree, I've always wet my breakfast the night before but I've been leaving it for staff to wet because it can go off so fast.
