Took Lil SJing on Sunday, jumped beautifully but then was slightly lame on her left fore when trotted up on Monday. No heat or swelling at any time.
She looked completely sound last night, we trotted her up on the yard and she was fine. Put her back out in her field was doing a beautiful extended trot round it going "Look at Me! I'm pretty"
How long would you give her off? Assuming that she's still fine when I fetch her in tonight would it be unreasonable to see if she feels up to a gentle walk and trot round in the school for a short session tonight?
She can have as long as she needs off but I'm wondering if maybe it was just a bruised sole? Could have trod on something jumping or could have caught her when cleaning stud holes.
