Its about 5-8 minutes in the car and about 15 mins to cycle to the yard and just under 30 mins to walk all facilities are there and there is a beach at the bottom of the drive,so makes it worthwhile..not too far at all....

5 min walk, to the edge of the village we live in. perfect as come rain or shine or snow i can get there with no need to drive.Before we bought the pony we ensured we had a space at the yard

its about 6 miles away around 10mins in car. about 35 on bus and 1 hour on foot

Not far This is the house, barns and the closest paddocks.
Old photo. It doesn't actually look like that at all now as we have had all the paddocks re-fenced and rearranged, more barns, the arena, a parking area for Owners etc , but you get the general idea. I wouldn't have horses if I couldn't have them at home, couldn't be doing with travelling to and fro and having to dance to someone else's drum.

Nearly 6 miles. Could make it in 15 minutes if the the traffic and lights were kind.

However, half the time i use the train (then bike it), a return works out cheaper that the petrol for the car. You can hear the train line (quietly!) from the yard actually.

There are closer yards to me, but he can't be moved.
