how long do you not ride for after vaccinations??

As per title really!

I used to leave it a day and then ride. Others say go on and ride straight away, others say leave it 3 or 4 days!

So how long do you leave it after flu and tetnus jabs before riding?
 
Nowadays the advice from vets is just to ride as normal. I wouldn't get the horse too stressed or sweaty but that's probably just going back to when you were told to give the horse a few days off and not sound veterinary advice !
 
Usually I leave 24hours but one of ours gets flu like symptoms everytime and needs a full week off to recover.
 
I give her that day and the next day off as if she is going to have a reaction it would normally show up. My friends horse never looks 100% the following day so i kind of go with that.
 
hmm paddy was done yesterday evening and his teeth were done too. His teeth were really good so didnt really have anything done except a general rasp under sedative etc.
 
B had his jabs last month, the vet said to ride as normal, just not to get him too hot + sweaty. Didn't have any probs :)
