How long do you take and what do you do with your neds in the morning?

I get up about 6 although the alarm goes off at 5.30!!! shower, make a mug of tea, breakfast and lunch. Get to yard about 6.45/7am depending on turnout or not. Put my boy in the yard and feed, then feed all the others (8) muck out, usually 2 wheelbarrows full.....my boy is a dirty so and so. Change rugs and put over-reach boots on. If turning out grab another pony and walk up dark lane and turnout. Put haynet in for evening, change and in work by 7.45.

In the evening put fresh straw on top, do feed and more haynets, change rugs, pick out feet. Haynets and feed for following day. Go home knackered!!!

I have 2 on DIY, and set off from the yard at 8.15 to get to work for 8.30.

I get up and go! Im out of the house by 7.20 and drive to the yard which is about 10 mins away.
Feed both of them- whilst they are eating I fill their haynets, and put mud fever cream/baby oil on.
Change rugs.
Lead them both to the field- they live in the same field which is a big help, as the field is the furthest from the yard!
Get back upto the yard, by this time it's 7.55, quickly skip out both stables and fill water buckets.

YM brings them both in at about 3.00- grass has dropped off considerably so I'd rather have them in eating then just stood outside!

I'm back from work at about 5.20- which is when I'll put the Speedi-beet on- soak it in hot water for quickness!

Then i'll tack whoever it is that im riding (they take it in turns!) and crack on!

Then they get rugged up, fed, and i go home!

I go to yard at 6 a.m. - chuck morning feed buckets out on yard and let girls out - while they are eating brekkie i'm mucking out their stables - I get both done while they are eating brekkie - then take them down to field scatter daytime hay, back to yard, fill haynets ready for evening, fill water buckets, then home - usually do all that in about 45 mins.
