How long do your wellingtons last?

First pair of Le Chameaus lasted me about eleven years, currently on my second pair which are into their third year, for me they are well worth the money as they last me so long

I like hunters and they last around a year for me wearing every day. I know they're not as strong as they used to be but they're slim fitting unlike some others and comfy :)

I have a pair of Aigle Parcours Iso - the neoprene lined ones. I'm coming to the end of the 3rd winter in them (I think, it could be 4 as I've lost track) and they're as good as new. They're so comfy and warm that I think they're well worth it. My YO has a pair she's had for about 8 years and they're still fine despite daily use in that period.

They're not that much more than Hunters but my last pair of those barely lasted a year and the Ariats I bought to replace them were even worse. I like them to be quite close fitting which is why I've never gone for the Dunlops, I just find them so wide on my legs.

My current hunters have lasted 2 years so far, and still in good working order :)
Mum found some bright orange hunters in TkMaxx so at least I have a spare pair in case my own hunters fail :p

I used to buy mine from Decathlon for under a tenner. I used them at home in the garden as well as at the yard and used to get at least 3 years out of them.

There are getting cheaper,I would love a frog pair as well and my partner would like a pair of frog wellies with steel toe caps.xx
I buy my wellies at a local agricultural supplier. £7 a pair and they last two or three years. I only bought the first pair because they were called 'Administrators' which made me smile, but they are comfortable and they keep my feet dry.

What I really want are a pair of those frog wellies that they make for children, but I've never seen them in adult sizes.

Gortex wellie sock liners army issue, great emergency dry foot saver for useless leaky willies, I need the support of hunters as have bad ankles so the loose fitting dunlops are no good but I refuse to keep paying £50+ for hunters that crack and leak in a matter of months ive worn through the soles of my current pair in under a year it use to take me 4yr of hard daily work to burn through the soles and they never cracked or leaked!

2 - 3 years of long hard wear. Never paid as much as £10 either, always cheaper, always comfortable, warm enough, non slip and non leaking.

My very cheap Dunlops lasted me 2 years. A shod horse trod on one of them when they were left outside the stable whist I was riding, which split the rubber, otherwise they would still be going strong. Another downside of leaving wellies outside the stable is sometimes they end up with poo in them!

I had a pair of Dunlops that were a good 10 years old then a blackthorn went right through the sole and that was the end of them. I got 2 new pairs of the "new" Dunlops one after another on average they lasted 8-11 months.
Used to sell Hunters and some of the other brands but they were so poorly made in the end like my Dunlops that I stopped. Since most are made out in Asia the standards and quality has gone downhill.
However, 2 years ago I attended the Smallholders show at Ardingly as usual, there was a chap on a stand selling 2 pairs of wellies for £20 and he threw in a 3rd pair free whatever sizes you wanted. I got one pair in brown and one pair in green and another pair for a family member. They have steel toe caps and on one of the pairs steel mid soles if you need to dig.
Excellent quality LIKE my OLD Dunlops used to be and they are injection moulded so seam free. They are very comfy and show no signs of any wear whatso ever despite being used most days and having a hard life.
Here, these are the boots, if you can find a supplier near you I would recommend them. They are about 4 miles away from me too if I feel I need some more!
