Hello paranoid new grandmother here!

Little Filly seems to be constantly feeding but only for a few seconds at a time. Mum has a firm what looks like a full bag and happily stands for Filly to feed but she just has a few sucks them gallops off to play or has a sleep or just mooches around. She does clear long stream wee's but just doesn't stay on the teat for very long . Is this normal?
She is three days old. I can only go by when I was feeding my kids and they seemed to feed for about 20 mins continually every 2 - 3 hours. What is the norm for a new foal?

Thank you again for all your help x

loving the grandmother by the way! I call mine the grandkids! I had my first foal born 3wks ago and i was worried to that she didnt seem to be feeding for long amounts of time, just little and often. Spoke to numerous knowledgable people and they all assured my this was normal. Good luck with your grand kid!
