My dad is doing some deal with a guy who he sees at the football to buy and plant some hedges - apparently they are currently 2ft high and the guy says they should be planted every 2ft ish apart.... the guy owns a nursery etc and apparently hedging is his thing.... lol
the guy rekons - that by next winter... they will be 4ft high and if we cut them at the tops straight, they will grow outwards hence fill in the gaps..... now the gardner that used to work on the estate where the stables are used to lay the hedges to ensure no gaps....
Has anyone got a clue of how quick they really would grow etc ?? I'mnot sure what variety they are - but they will be suitable for horses as the guy works in the industry.
