How long for mane to grow back?

My horse (new to me this year)has sweet itch and has successfully managed to remove the lower half of his mane (despite being rugged and application of SI lotions!!). Any ideas how long it will take to regrow and if there is anything I can put on it to help quicken the regrowth?

All I can tell you is that part of Lolly's mane rubbed off with the winter rugs last year and since April it has grown approx 1.5 inches. If you rub Cornucrescine on it promotes growth. Or so they say.

My boy had a 3 inch cunk missing out of his mane in the April and I took him to the New Forest Show end of July with a full mane! It really works!

It's colourless when you rub it in and doesn't leave residue or anything on you rugs or their mane.


Several peope on my yard have since gone out and bought some and all have had fanastic results with it! (smells lush too!)
