AmyMay was at her yard for 10 years, until she moved to a yard where she could have babies. I stayed there with my new horse and have been there for 3 years.
Been at current yard for around 17 years, love it, have my own two fields and nice roomy stables (all nect to each other), large outdoor floodlite school and reasonable hacking.
Was at one yard for a few years, but moved within about 3 weeks of having new horse, as he was bought in from the field covered in blood, but nobody bothered to call me or even check to see if he was ok.........just left him in his stable with no hay or water, was well peed off.......
I have been on my current yard for four years, and the one before that I was on for two years... Moved to the current one because there was someone to do livery if I needed help while I was doing my degree, but they then left
Just over 2 years. Shortest time was when I first bought Chex and kept him there (RS) to get used to him for a month or 2. Stayed at next yard for 7 years, then moved to present yard
I've been at my current yard 9 years and before that I was at the rescue centre getting used to Lady for 3 months, before that I had a pony on loan for seven years at the same yard, before that I rode other peoples ponies or rode at riding schools for four years
Been at my current yard 1.5 years. Hope to stay longer as I am happy there.
Shortest... well WP placement was for 9 months but I didn't have a horse for most of that. Before that I was at an inner city farm in Bristol, was probably there for about 1.5 years and had a horse for about 1 year of that.
Current yard since the end of August. Yard before that just under 3 months - I won't go into why I left on open!! (B was at stud or at MFH_09's for a lot of that time). Yard before that, 4 months (just B there - H was at his Dad's and for a little while at Bonzabean's, didn't have Berry back at that point) - moved, because I moved and didn't like it on the fens - too flat for me and yard was actually beneath water level
. Yard before that 6 months - moved because I moved to the other side of the country
Yard before that 2yrs, moved as yard closed to anything but holiday/full liveries.
5 years tomorrow! Was at my first yard for 11 years! Shortest time at a yard was about 4 months, because they put our rent up to £500 a month for DIY on a yard with no water, no school and no electricity!
Nearly 13 years - it's run by a friend who I bought my horse from as a foal.
Shortest time was about a year. One day I turned up at the field to find a gelding in there harassing my 30 yo mare, I ended up moving her by the end of the week as the cattery owners wouldn't compromise about seperating them. They hadn't even told me it was coming, it just appeared, and was lashing out at my sweet, old girl who was desperately trying to get out of the way. Stoopid people just didn't care.
although i did take my horse away for a few months when i was at Uni, so he could stay near me - but that was only ever temporary and he went straight back when I graduated.
13 years, we rent it in total so its just our 4 horses there and we can do as we please, only down side is no school, but land drains very well so ride on it most of the year. Shortest was 1 year when we got our first pony, when they started to keeo them in during winter we moved to our current yard
I have been at my currant yard for nearly two and a half years,The yard before that two years and the one before that over ten years. Before that had them at home!.
