just wondering really :) ive had mine for 5 years this ocotober!!! (wow thats gone fast!)
i dont really understand how people can get a new horse every year because they want a "better" one. surely you need to bond/work with a horse to get the best from it...unless of course you a trainer or something hahah x
anyway - not judging, just wondering xxx

The horses in my signature pictures have been with me 21 years and 13 years. A couple of years ago I lost my old horse after 33 years with him.

:D Little mare got me doing everything and taught me loads jumping/competition/horse care. I outgrew her sadly, so she's been reliving what we did with another teenage girl for the past couple of years. She's coming back home to me New Year now I think.

TB lad taught me patience, and boldness over XC...and just how much money is needed on feed alone in winter for a non-native!!!

Little lad has been a whole new kettle of fish and teaching me everyday about having a youngster along with a colt. He's so easy I don't have a bad word against him. Can do anything with him, he's just so accepting of new things and my ideal baby. I hope in 20 odd years I can pump this back up and say 'Still got him!'
 
My haffy I will of been with my 7yrs in December :D

My bay gelding just over a year, my mums cob I think 6yrs now & my NF we sold as a 4yr old & he came back to us just under 2yrs ago, but is now out on loan :)
 
My new one about 3 months but I love him we are well bonded already. My coblet nearly 10 years had her since she was 2 and she is my soul mate. The old dear I have owned for just over 17 years, that's more than half our lives together!

Had Chloe for just over 2 years now, owned her for nearly 1 and known her for about 8. She's taught me so much, love her loads and she's really helped ease a hole since our boy was PTS in March

Nearly 4 years in October (Wow! Where did that go!?). He has taught me what a soft mouth feels like, how to be sensitive with my hand and leg aids and to be patient and sympathetic :)
 
I've had my piebald cob for 12 years last week and my ginger mare 4 years next week. Both were yearlings when I got them. Don't intend on ever parting with either of them. :)
 
i have had Pip 3years in september :) she came as a wild 18month old - shes just turned four and is fabby! so much fun and such a dude, game for anything!

5 1/2 months - truely pathetic compared to you lot, and I broke myself coming off him too so not *quite* bonded yet (anybody want an over exuberant 15.2 ISH?!).

Big boots to fill though as Peewee was with me for 16 years, sure I will grow to love the new beastie over time ... at least he now disposes of the over ripe contents of my fruit bowl so we do have progress :p
 
Leanne/Pip - she looks great!

I've had my boy about 15 years now - he is utterly fab (he has to be, to put up with me!) and he brings out my childish side...
