how long have you had your horse/pony?

I've owned my old girl for 27 years, her daughter for almost 10 years, the spotty pony for 7 years and the NF for 6 years. None of them will be going anywhere any time soon. We adjust what we do to what our horses / ponies can do / want to do. They are family members, not bits of sports equipment.
 
I have had my mare 'from new' as I bred her and in fact delivered her :) that was a summer night 19 years ago tomorrow :)

I have had the mighty Hullabaloo for 7 years, he kind of tricked his way into my life. He was meant to stay no longer than the 6 months I thought it would take to sort him out but he is a lifer now :cool:
 
Well my late girl was with me from age 2 to almost 22, so over 19yrs until i suddenly lost her last october with colic. Now its me and Nell and we have been together since January this year and I hope we have a lovely long chapter together like me and Seren did
 
5 months, 4 months on loan and owned him for 1 month and they have been the best 5 months of my horse owning life :)
 
Ive had my section A since sept 2005 and coblet too,(except coblet was stolen 8 weeks ago and Im still looking for him).

Had my old Arab mare 21 years before I lost her and our shire lad I had about 18 years. Current horses; Pony I have now had 6 years, mare 2 years and filly 3 months.
 
I am currently on my third horse and so far I have only owned him for 10 months haha! But we bonded straight away, he came as an unbroken 5 year old but he is now a fab little pony who is getting ready to start his showing career! :D
Here is him on the day he arrived, I think he was grateful to me for taking him on aha!:
