How much longer is my normally backward thinking cob going to be on his toes and raring to go? My nerves can’t take much more spooking at twigs and wheelie bins , he usually ignores everything!

I wish that was always the case annagain :D. Unfortunately mine at 29 has got worse but her eyesight is deteriorating and it seems that she is now more reactive to noise.

We did a massive detour (at a canter) on our local common at the weekend because there was a lady with a zimmer frame, standing completely still, on the opposite side of a very wide road. We ended up about 50m away from her (as opposed to about 20m had we gone in a straight line) then when he got level with her he decided he was now running away from her so legged it!

Cobbus had me off last weekend. This time fortunately didn't end with me being blue-lighted to hospital. The reason for the fall? 3 deadly branches of gorse left on the sand canter track over on the common. Cue 10ft leap sideways in full cobby canter. And me, previously in full 'precarious seat', suddenly thumping down in the heather.
