How long is your commute to horse from home?

Couple of seconds, stables next door to houseand fields behind and around house and stables.

About thirty steps....I can see stables from the kitchen. They watch me.

At the bottom of the garden. I rent out my 3 bed semi in the town and rent a 4 bed equestrian property for what my mortgage and assisted livery would have been.

I'm have around 50 yards to walk. I do sometimes dream of assisted livery/indoor arena/ hacking company though.

1 second lol. Although I am moving my two over to the other side of the farm as I am sick of having time with my horses to getting pestered by liveries... ( i live onsite in the house with my partner and run the yard)

Just moved yards and am now 7.5 miles away from pony which is only a fraction further than before. I just take a different route but that can get me stuck in traffic so have done it in 12 minutes on quiet days but can take 20 or so on busy days. On assisted DIY now so only go once a day.

One horse is on a livery yard around 2 miles away, takes 5 mins by car. The other is in a field owned by the farm that is just a few 100m and you can walk there in less than 5 mins!
