It is going to be very difficult to get hay rounds now my horse's field is up a steep path... So hoping to go the small bale route for ease. Going to keep the bales in a shed next to the field shelter. I have a big hay rack feeder similar to the little ones that go on the wall in stables with the gaps in to slow them down. I was just going to put the bales in it fully as I'd like them to have ad lib. Would I be right in thinking one small bale a day may be adequate, it is for a 11.2hh pony and 16.1hh (both greedy!) thank you
