How long off work after annual vaccinations?

Ron had his jabs today and I'd like to long-rein him tomorrow but don't know whether that's too soon? I'm assuming no adverse reaction. Long-reining would be fairly gentle - 20 mins walk and prob 6 mins trot.

How long do you give your horses off after their jabs?

Providing no adverse reaction, I work pretty much as usual - very few of us have horses in 'hard' work so no reason to not continue as usual.

I was always told that they could be a little stiff in the jab site, so although ok to excercise, not too much heavy schooling for a couple of days and to avoid heavy sweating.
Gentle hacking should be ok though...

I don't change their work at all unless they suffer a reaction from the jab. And mine work hard.

Vet's response to this question when I asked it was there was no need to curtail work at all unless there was a reaction. He'd "jabbed" horses at hunt meets with no ill effects...

My vets always say the day of the injection plus 2 more days no work!
