Ive not ridden since the end of May as Katie has a respiritory condition and Kelly is fully retired. Im getting really fed up lol!! I want to go out for a hack!! I did mention to hubby yesterday about getting another!! He laughed!! So do I take that as a good sign as it wasnt an outright NO??!! PMSL!! Ok so i wont push my luck lol!

So who else is not riding at the moment for one reason or another then??

me! i haven't ridden properly for a year, as i stopped to have a baby then rode three times, then raff broke his leg (obviously the thought of me riding him again caused him to attempt horse-suicide) and is now ready to be ridden again. however, my confidence was never very good... and a year off has made it a squillion times worse...

anyone want to ride my lovely horse for me? :(

Not ridden since last September / October and I miss it. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Trouble is, I have no money to pay up for a ride, and I'm now so out of practice I wouldn't feel comfortable working for rides on a privately owned horse as I don't think it would be fair on the horse to expect it to put up with me until I get my sea legs back:(

I feel your pain!! I started breaking my youngster in last year and then he went lame in November and it turned out to be a fractured pedal bone. Was just getting him better when I fell and totally knackered my already damaged knee in Feb so I ve been on crutches! Had just started to come off them and I ve now had a op to remake my cruciate ligament. My youngster is now ready to go and they ve told me I can't ride for 9-12months! I can't drive for 6 weeks so only seeing him when my friend or OH can take me to see him. With other horrible things that have gone on this year I'd pretty much like to erase 2010 thank you very much! Feeling pretty depressed at mo to be honest!!

Most of the time it's ok, but then sometimes I see someone out hacking and have to fight the temptation to tip them out of the saddle and gallop off - especially if I reckon I can ride better than them
