I last rode nearly two weeks ago!! Horses have now been ridden three times in three or 4 weeks (i have lost track of time!)

i havent ridden for...

...8 days, but i only rode on 9th day and 10th day ago (if that makes sense?) and then before that i hadnt ridden for a further 7 days.
it seems like weeks...i get SO bored if i cant ride...i honestly dont understand what non-horsey people DO all day?!

tonight. Was very intersting tho!! Cows on the yard did an escaping act. So that and a fresh horse was very entertaining hehe

15th Dec hunting was the last of the constant riding (fortunately crammed a lot in this week, with dressage, sj and hunting
) Then 3 times inbetween xmas and New year
, but not ridden this year.....
yet! Am very jealous of everyone with a school, i am reliant on lanes, which are snow and ice ;-(( My fields are too slippery too...booooo
. Hopefully not long now, needs to be, horse is bored and i'm bored, of him being bored!!!!! I'm going to get the super glue out when i sit on him!!

Nor do I, couldn't get up my road (ungritted hill) on Thursday so was stuck in the house all day, drove me up the wall!

Resident of Scotland here: last rode about 2 1/2 hours ago. Today, the pony and I did nothing much, because it was too slippery, so we just slid our way over to the riding school, trotted around the school for about 10 mins until a lesson was about to start, and then waded through deep snow on the way home by way of avoiding the slidy bits. Then I sat on a steam-engine of a highland pony for an hour.
Definitely no hunting though with this ice!
