How long to grow back?

How long will it take for a hogged mane to grow back?
Rocky had rubbed half of his out and looked a bit of a scruff so we bit the bullet and clipped it off. It doesn't look that bad as he has got a neck like a bull (on a 3 year old not in work)!! But I would like to grow it out. Also are there any supps that will assist?

it took my cob from hogged to a mane that is 5 inches long 12 months, didnt give anything additional as I do not believe there is anything other than the usual good food with vits and mins, if horse is healthy body will be healthy.

I hogged my lad back in June and had about 6" of mane by the time I took it all off on Monday just gone so I think you're just going to have to wait and see.
