Nearly 5 weeks ago I got my left foot stuck in a fillet string hanging over a stable door. Turned to run as was late for my next appointment and went upside down on the concrete yard. Ouch
My left ankle/foot twisted inwards and literally the swelling/pain started straight away. I thought at first had broken it, but no according to the docs etc, ligament damage, Have it nicely strapped up, Strong Pain relief and treating myself with electrotherapies (I am a Vet physio). Knew it was bad as I am a tough cookie and cried like a baby for 5 hours afterwards
Have had to keep walking/hobbling (due to my job) but just wondered how long did yours take to heal? Still excruciatingly painful to flex my ankle. Trying to elevate as much as possible but desperate to get on my boy who is due to have another vet assessment in 3 weeks after all his issues.
Any stories would be most welcome.
Thanks
