How long........

do you think I should leave my horse before riding as he has just had 2 wolf teeth removed.....They were fairly small....but i'm sure he must be sore... dentist said he could hack tomorrow and school in about 4 days...but i'm not so sure his gums must be sore..?

How long would you leave before getting on board....??

P.S a bitless/hackamore bridle wouldn't be an option on this boy...lol...

Mmmm personally atleast a few days, as it like us having 2 teeth removed then eating something really hard after. Gonna hurt x

When my last horse had his wolf teeth out, I was advised to leave it at least 10 days before riding.

Yes thats what I thought!! He said hacking on loose rein would be ok.....but then again - who wants to hack on a loose rein in open fields...lol..

Nah....I think I will go with my gut feeling and leave him a week or so... His mouth will be bruised - dont want to agrivate or cause any infection.......

Think he said that as they were small and came out easy, even so Common sense tells you to rest them...lol...
