how many bales?

how many bales of ecobed do you need to start a good bed? is it any good for a really wet horse? so far i've had shavings, straw, sawdust and happy jack. the only one he was dry on was the sawdust but YO will not let me use it as the farmer wont take away the muckheap with it in.

depends on how big the stable is and how big you like your banks/if you hae them/ how deep you like the bed!

i have a decent bed no banks stable is 12 x14 but the front 3 foot has no bed

if it's on a concrete floor, i'd say about 6 bales, then 2 a week or 3 if he's really wet.

I love Ecobed.........but it's no good for our very wet 13.2 NF mare

so she's on flax.

3-4 on a 12x12 stable with rubber mats, then 1 a week.
