I forgot to send my blades off to be sharpened.
They have done one trace clip and a few bridle paths - and oiled before storing.
How many times can you clip from a set of blades and should I be ok to clip this year with these blades?

Mine would be - I get about 8 clips out of mine and my horse is a yak.

I lower the amount of times I use them before sharpening if I'm not able to wash before clipping.

It looks depends on how clean the animal is / how thick the coat is.
My hairy cob, never washed but well groomed I get about 4 full clips from a set.
Previously clipping a much finer / cleaner connie it would be at least double that

I do about 5-6 clips per year in Irish pattern on a very hairy cob. I'd say three of those are after a proper bath, the other three hot cloth. I get them sharpened once a year in Feb or so, as the last clip is normally a bit tufty.
