sire llechfryn iarll

dam brynmeillion duchess

Call the stud that his sire stands at. I was just visiting their website and, even though they didn't have his height on there, they seem easy enough to call.

If you let me know his name I can show you quite a few lines of pedigree and could give you an idea of the size of his family

That is very strange, I would try and contact the Brynmeillion stud, his name seems very strange as it doesn't seem to have a prefix.....the sire is also at the brymeillion stud I think so I would believe they bred your boy

Aahh, so Montel is his prefix, makes more sense now. The Brynmeillion stud would def know how big he's likely to grow then and can give you some clarification on his dams family...

I have a section D x gypsy stallion who is just three and Fifteen hands. The vet said she would not grow much more but it seems unlikely to me as she is so young. Do welsh D s mature particularly early?

well ive been told they mature later, but i think they mean more of the filling out, rather than the height. when looking for a saddle ive been told over the next 2 years he will be a totally different shape.

Tell me about it! I have a 4 year old Haflinger who has only just started to fill out! I can fully understand now why you don't start them until they are 4! Going to have to buy her an adjustable width saddle to break her in!
