How many HH?

Ok, I'm being a bit dim. I measured my pony and she is 149cm, when I try and work it out into HH I get 14.7......so what height is she?

Am I really being that dim??

I think if you divide the CM by 2.5 it will give you inches so then divide that by 4. I think. But I have been drinking!

A hand is 4 inches or 10.2cm. Your measurement of 149cm would mean that she is just under 14.2 hands I would reckon, anyway.

Yeah roughly I think. I make it 14.75 hands ie 14.3 + another 6cm so 15.1hh I reckon. Gawd fancy making me get my calculator out this time of night!

She is 14.2 and just less than half an inch.
148cm is 14.2
She is the max height for FEI ponies with shoes although I think some things allow taller.

Ooohh, just realised. She's my first horse, even if only just, I've always had ponies

Although when I go on riding holidays they always put me on the 16hh!
