how many horses do u own ???

Ten.......three are on loan (one to the farmer's wife where the remainder live, which is great as we get to see her all the time!)...........Would someone please explain to my 18 year old daughter that if she wants horses. she has to forego things like holidays, new cars, house refurbishment etc etc!!!!!!!! I'm poor -but happy!

Four, two retired and two ridden, we used to keep them at DIY livery, but it cost us a fortune, bought a house and some land instead, which works out cheaper in the long run, and you get the bonus of being able to see them out of the sindows.

I think I have 15 or 16. I own a farm so they all live here along with all our boarding horses.

. That's the trouble with selling and buying and breeding; at some point (fairly early on I might add) you stop counting but you generally have a rough idea LOL!!

Just the 5.

I would probably have more but the problem with keeping them at home is that my husband actually recognises them and would realise if I snuck more in, although........I found a really nice roan Hancock filly today, and a cremello mare. He'll kill me.

A friend of mine used to only buy chestnuts and rotate the fields a lot, her husband only recognised the colours so never realised that the numbers fluctuated wildly.

I feel very restrained after reading some of your answers !
Only (Only !) got 3...........but I will have to buy another if Archie is unable to return to work after his 6 months off. Mine are at livery but I would love to buy/rent some land to keep them on.
