As the title says really, but can you tell me what you have and what you do with them please? (Am trying to justify buying the two year old I used to look after

, but am also curious)

I have Hannah, a 16.3hh IDxTB mare who is 11 years old and has just been brought back into work from having her foal and will start affiliated BD comps in the New Year.

I also have a 6 year old 17hh WBxTB mare who was out competing BD Novice before injuring her suspensory, but should be back out in the next 6 months with the aim of working through the levels.

Finally, I have a nine months old entire colt out of the first mare who I intend to compete BD when he is all grown up

Two - one youngster Ru 17hh WB just backed and Gem 16.3hh IDx coming up 16yrs hacks, used for lessons, bit of jumping

2! One 20 year old, still in full-ish work but not competing anymore. Used to do a bit of everything. One 5 year old, bringing him along with the aim again of doing a bit of everything, though will specialise more if he seems to have any talent in a particular area.

3 (owned between me and sis) + 2 (one for selling and one paid comp. livery) + 7 (neighbours horses, so not mine but on my yard!)
Flynn is 13 this year an Int eventer, Titus is 7 will hopefully go novice (maybe Int), we got as 4yo and broke in. Then Woody will be 4 this year, hopefully event later in life, got him as 3yo.
I hate the comp livery, stubborn, lazy git, but my sis has the pleasure of competeing him (with Titus and I have Flynn + Woody to compete, but we swap Woody and Titus, not others as she winds Flynn up!)!!!
neighbour has 3 broodmares all in foal, one foal from this year, 4yo just broken homebred and one 3yo in for breaking.
Youngsters are so much cheaper, but u have to wait a longer time with feed bills, but it seems cheaper, which is fine with me!

I don't own any myself but I have 2 that I school full time (Louis and Eric) and another 2 that I school as and when.
Both of them are dressage horsies but do a bit of sj'ing/ x country with Lou for fun (Eric can't jump).

i have 5. (well until christmas day!)

Sniff - is 11,bay and belgian wb, ive had him since he was 4 and just broken. he was my first horse when i came out of juniors so i have jumped him all the way through from BN to young riders. he is also my favourite!!! ( shush, dont tell the others!)

Corky - 11, chestnut and danish wb. i jumped him thru to foxhunter but he has had to be retired this year due to navicular, so i have a 17hh ginger pet!

Robbie - is 6, bay and belgian. he was brought as a corky replacement. is jumping disco dc, very talented, but arrogant!

Zanger - turns 4 january.KWPN. he was my first buy and sell project. i have sold him to a lad on our yard but its his crimbo pressie so secret, which leaves me still looking after him!

And finally,

Lex - 5yrs unbroken hannoverian. he is my next project!

Two, the coloured ISH type in my sig below, he is 16hh and is my hunter, does all the teamchasing and fast work I do, and my old black mare, she doesn't really do anything anymore appart from cause trouble!!
I share a bay 15.2hh conniexTB with a friend and ride four or five for some extra dosh

We have 6!

Trooper a 21-y-o IDxWB who is semi-retired and on loan to a hacking home.

Maddie a 5-y-o Selle Francais X TB in foal to Balouet

Diva a 6-y-o Westphalian competing at Novice

Blitz a 6-y-o Westphalian competing Novice

Hils a 14-y-o Hann X TB competing at PSG

Muley a 4-y-o Mule who is a field mule/companion we were supposed to break him to drive this year but never got round to it!

One

16.1 coloured hunter type.Trakhener x welsh in my sig .only 4 but does a bit of everything in moderation.
She will be go and do workers with me eventually

two a tb 4yrs whos spotty just finished racing and a three year old coloured gelding stunning warmblood x hes for sale

3 between my OH and I!
My arab J who is 11 and does literally a bit of everything!
My older mare (chestnut trakhener)(she was my first horse!) who is now 17 and mostly just hacks with our sharer through the winter, planning to do some vets classes with her this summer tho
OH's mare (ISH) who I mostly look after, she's a good allrounder too that he was going to do SJ/XC on but she trashed all the tendons/ligaments in her foot somehow and most likely won't jump again. Hopefully he'll be getting back on her to start building her fitness again at Christmas, but she will probably be restricted to flat work

I also look after my mum's 'pet' a 12.2 NFx.
grin.gif

Rosiie - I never realised Oshk was that tall! I always though he was about 15.2hh but with presence!
I have one horse of my own, an 11yo 15.3hh grey ID X mare, who tore her tendon in February and is on field rest until April. We used to do a bit of everything (prelim unaff dressage, just starting 2'3" SJ, aiming for some 2'3" XC and ODEs) and if she's sound enough to be worked again next year she'll be a happy hack and confidence giver for someone (I'll keep her but loan her out).
I also share a 15.3hh ish 11yo grey Anglo Arab gelding, who I mostly hack at the moment but will do some schooling if we manage to get our school built next year.
My second share horse is a 15hh ish 7yo black & white cob-type mare, I've only just started riding her but I get to keep her schooled, sane and safe for her novice owner.
The others that I don't ride are the 3yo 16hh ish potential eventer by Catherston Springsteen, and the 2yo 15.3hh ish also potential eventer by Catherston Liberator. Then there are the two kept in with my share horses (we all share looking after), a big coloured cob and a 14hh ish 19yo Haflinger gelding who my mum rides.
Seven. Not bad considering I only own one!

I have 4

Flicka - 19 yo 14.1 skewbald TBxcob, was mother and daughter share, now taking it easier with just mother pretending to do RC activities

Fleur 5 yo 15.2 bay TB, - ridden by daughter, hoping she will do PC/RC

Honeymonster about 16 yo palamino 11 hands sheltand/welsh type - her job is companion and cuddly cutie pie

Teddy 8 yo cremello sec A - Came on loan for 6 months for some Dr Green, 14 months later he is still here (I dont mind) he is the companion ponies companion!

Just 4 at the mo (been 5 on and off for the past few years with the odd "project" coming and going!):

16hh Lusitano x TB. 8yo (well 9 by now maybe). Does BE Novice & BSJA to Foxhunter.

15.2hh Welsh Sec D 6yo. Done his first BE Intro in Sep, will do more next yr. Otherwise he's my "fun" horse for RC SJ and M&M ridden & WHP.

13.2hh Welsh x Highland 20yo. My very first pony
laugh.gif
Had him 15 years! He's retired now although I do occassionally take him for a little hack where upon he usually gallops off with me...

Shetland 17/18yo. Always been a companion to above.

2 and a bit!!
A 15.1hh T.B x Cob 9 yr old mare who does abit of everything.
A piebald friesian x warmblood yearling who i am showing next year but have her for dressage (hopefully) when she's bigger,
and a currently broken 10 yr old, 36" skewbald shetland pony, who will hopefully continue driving when better.

I have three of my own and i have one to produce and sell (done the producing bit, shes for sale now...)

Bob- 11yo 14.2 coloured ISHx cob showjumped up to fox hunter in ponies but im too old to be a junior this dec so i'm re registering him as a horse and im gona do newcomers/1.10 amature classes. I also Event him at Pre-novice level.

Fanny(not thought of a suitable name yet to change it too!)- shes a 16.3, 6 yo holstiner and events at novice level and i hope to eventually do advanced on her long term and JRN's on her next season. she also will do BSJA and BD over the winter months.

Sholto- coloured, 7yo, 17.2hh Dutch WB, he really belongs to my mum and she does dressage on him (novice so far) but he's primarily a Showjumper currently doing Newcomers. hes recently had a hobday (sp) opperation and is being brought back into work i hope he will jump foxhunter and beond next year but we'll have to see...

and finally Fizz (the one that isn't mine) 15.2, 8 yo, british warmblood mare, does british dressage up to elementary so far talent for PSG and beond but she doesn't like pressure so regretably she proberbly wont go any further than Medium, which is a shame...

and thats the lot...

I have 2:

14.3 Anglo Arab gelding, bay/dark bay and very very fine build! He's 9 years old and was due to be put to sleep at the end of summer due to mystery lameness which cause some very scary side-effects and acrobatics. He came sound on the last flexion test we gave him before calling the 'man', I shall do trec and show jumping with him next year. At the moment Im just enjoying him being alive and well
smile.gif

14hh Welsh D mare, chestnut with four white socks. Also 9 years old, bought her unbroken in september as a replacement for the anglo, she is now hacking and jumping logs. Will also do trec and showjumping with her next year, maybe some showing too.. whatever takes our fancy
grin.gif

I have 6.

Flo, 16hh 24yo TB x Clydesdale mare, one a million hoping to go BD with her next year
grin.gif

Lottie, 16hh 14yo DWB mare, been there done that, hoping to get her in-foal next year to Libro (fingers crossed).

Bramble, 13.2hh 16yo NF mare, driving and show jumping pony and dam of Phoenix.

Teazle, 13.2hh 15yo NF mare, driving and everything riding pony and dam of Rainbow.

Rainbow, 12.3hh at mo should make 14.2hh, 5 1/2 months old, out of Teazle by Goshka Ringo.

Phoenix, 12hh at mo should make 14.2hh, 4 1/2 months old, out of Bramble by Goshka Ringo.

Hope to keep both the foals and make good performance ponies out of them.

Just the one now. (for past few years have always had 2).
A 18 month old recently gelded friesianXtbxtrak. I just pay all of my money to his best friend - the vet and stand back and admire his handy work - a punctured DDFT
crazy.gif
.
Hopefully in a few years time he'll be a very safe and trustworthy hack.
wink.gif

Two at the moment

1 TB advanced event horse..17 yrs old which I compete at OPN. Had planned to do ON in the spring before I badly broke my leg

1 DWB, aged 8. Will be getting someone to showjump him after xmas. He does 1.10 at the moment. Also he hunts and is good at dressage. Just doesnt event, and really bought for my husband who doesnt really have time to ride, so he will go next summer,

Then I can get another event horse!

We have 3 and the 4th due in May
smile.gif

15:3 Paint x Cob 9yo general hack still a baby at heart as not broken in till she was 7 trying desperately to improve the schooling at the mo.

14:1 Paint x 3 yo busy being pregnant at the moment and then will be broken in at the end of next year

Plenty to be going on with
