how many horses do you have?

Oh my word how do you all manage all those horses?!?!?!

I'm bogged down with just my one mare- and I thought I had a lot to do!

I have 8

I have my 4 tb ex racers-Paddy,Goggles,Parker and Rabbit
2 ID X TB= Burt and Blue
1 KWPN- Joucas
and a NF X Beanie!!

Far 2 many!!:o

I own 8 as well
2 tb's that i actually ride
2 x 3yr old that will be backed later this year
2x 2 year olds
1 x 1 yr old
1 x ex brood mare

God knows why i need so many! But i love them all.

2, both ridden by me:
14 h bay NF gelding, 19, brilliant safe hack who daughter occasionally rides when she is home and takes to camp each year even though she is now 17. Bolshy sod and we call him ASBO boy but I love him and despite threatening daughter regularly, cant part.
15h rose grey warmblood x gelding 6. Absolute horse of a lifetime for me, unspoilt, no issues but sadly recovering from KS op. Fingers crossed that we will still be able to do all I hoped to.

I currently own 12 - with 2 foals due this year.

i have:
my 2nd pony (shetland) owned since a yearling 9.3hh,
PBW broodmare 13hh
her 2008 filly, also PBW currently at 13.2
14hh rescue broodmare tbxcob
her 2010 colt - sired by apparently a section D, hes at 13.2 at the mo
retired old driving/jumping welsh D mare 14.2 and shrinking!
another section D broodie at 14.1 - bought from one of my liveries to help her out
15.3 KWPN broodmare ex jumper
16.1 Hann x Arab retired hack
16.2 CB x TB retired MW hunter
16.2 pure bred Cleveland Bay broodmare - who was bought just before christmas
and finally my small TB stallion

Then due next year is a Furst Kiss and Asterly Lilyfield foal!

I have 2 :D

My old 16.2 25yo tb
and my 16h 5yo tb
also I ride my mums 17.2 8yo wb

There all at my yard then i also look after my mums 3 OAP's and my landlords 2 OAP's
That are at grass :D

I won't go into how many I ride that would take a while.

Own however...4.

Prince 19yrs 20 in May, 15hh now ridden by my mum, retired from competition. Now a happy hacker really.
Lady 3yrs 4 in March 16.1hh TB ex race horse, either eventer or dressage superstar of the future...fingers crossed.:D My baby.
Solar 2yrs 3 in May NF x 14.1hh ish will be my mum's project, if he grows a little bigger. being led in hand around village in saddel and bridle no ridder.
Kes 27yrs Welsh A show pony. Retired bar the odd nephew ride here and there. He is a companion to the others. Alround lawn mower with no teeth. Rescue case.

That's my little herd.

I have 8 ponies, although some are too young or too small to ride. If they aren't ridden they get shown in hand. I have...
13hh chestnut gelding 15yrs old.
13.1hh bay mare 14yrs old.
13.2hh chestnut mare 9yrs old.
14.1hh dark bay mare 27yrs old.
A dark brown mini Shettie mare 4yrs old.
A black mini Shettie mare 19yrs old and her 2 babies, a chestnut filly 2yrs old and a bay/dun colt 5 months old.

:D :D

2. Little cob a 15hh Irish cob lunatic!! Nearly 10 years old but mad as a hatter and the most fun you can get in a small horse! Absolutely adore the fool, had him since 3 years old and will have him til the day he drops (or I do from the stress of keeping up with him!)

And Big Cob a 16.3hh Shire x monster! Soft, slow and safe as they come! Only just 4 but the sweetest most gentleman ever!! So opposite from LC but they are fab together and love each other!! I've only ever owned 2 horses (always loaned before) and cannot believe that both horses I bought ended up being 100% perfect for me and both cost me next to nothing and have given me so much already!!! Look foward to spending the rest of my life with these 2 soft lads!:D I don't need fancy pant horses who can spin and dance and show off...I just need personality and they give it to me in bucket loads. I love my boys!:D

I own one, a 6 year old 15.2/3ish warmblood mare. I would have loved to be able to ride her, but she was kicked in the field as a youngster and cannot be ridden. I hope to find her a broodmare home soon, and possibly a 14.2 pony to ride and bring on as a competition pony.
