Owned 9, loaned 4 and 1 from rescue charity. Thats over 12 years, only ever sold 2 and those were to very good homes, I seem to accumulate them, I get too attached! Have 1 rescue horse and own 6 at home at the moment and 1 out on loan.

I still have my first horse and bought two shetties last year. Other than that I had one horse on part loan and that is it. Still plenty of time to get a few more though!
Falcon: 13.2hh pony when I was 9 (shared with my bro), he was sold to my friend when I grew out of him
Cedar: 14.3hh horse when I was 12 - she was retired out on permanent loan because of tendon problems when I was 15
Tosca: Cedar's foal (sold as a weanling and currently standing about 17hh!!!!!)
then a big gap:
Bob: 16.2hh schoolmaster on loan from horseworld. I had him for a year before a shoulder problem meant he had to go back.
Molly: 15.3hh exracehorse on loan whilst I was a working pupil. Did lots of flatwork with her but she hated jumping so in the end I made the decision not to keep pushing her and her owner sold her as a hack.
Polly: 15.1hh my superstar girlie. I had her on loan after Molly but ended up buying her when I left my Working Pupil job because I loved her so much. Hopefully will have her for many years and maybe have a foalie out of her as well in the future.
Seems like a lot really but I had a bit of bad luck with horses going lame or not being suitable. Hopefully have found my perfect partner now
owned 2, still have both of them. When we buy horses they are kept for life!
Loaned err (counts) at least 10! I used to take on problem horses for people at the yard then when they were sorted out the owner would have them and i'd get given another nutter!
Simba was my 1st a 5mth foal bought from Charlie Brown, looked a lot like Bert but smaller. Went onto an 8mth PBA filly, she foaled at 4yrs. I kept the filly sold the mare & bought a 16.1 TB, who 5mths later produced a filly! The filly was sold, & a couple of yrs later put the mare in-foal to an ID, & had another filly. When I fell pregnant I had no choice but to part with both the girls. Later on I rescued a little mare who then had a filly foal. Bought my daughter about 6yrs ago, a Sec A for her, then a bigger Welsh, then a bigger pony (which produced Bandit), then I bought a QHxAA (Spice) for myself. Got Mo because my daughter had taken over riding Spice & Mo's owner had lost confidence riding her. Sas was bought when Spice was PTS after breaking a hind leg. I now have Sas, her son, Mo, her foal to be & the project that has stayed. Plan is sell Sas, access her foal each year, keep Mo & her offspring & later this year sell the devil, so I will be left with 3. Plan being that only Mo will be in work while the daughter is busy with studies.
