Just saw MoonWalkers post about her new boy and thought to myself I wonder how many of us have "Jacks" on here and how many of them are chestnut as well? Seems to be a very popular (or common depending on your thinking) name for horses.

my little brother is called Jack.... does anyone want him?

15 years old
brown hair
taller than me
he's a right little gobby sh*te...

free to good home (it doesn't have to be that good, just as far away from us as possible)

oh, free delivery too, if he'll load.

any takers?

I know of a lemon skewbald Jack and a bay Jack as well as 3 chestnut Jacks

I have a new yearling "Cracker Jack" Every one seems to call him Cracker apart from my dressage trainer who insists on calling him Jack coz its a good strong name, Trouble is my other horse is Lenard, Yes I know I spell that the wrong way! but Its soon going to sound like I have a bar full of dirty old men rather than a stables full of horses, what is funny is that the last horse I looked at was Eric, may be im destined to have a bar full of dirty old men?

My current and now only horse is called Jack and I've taken him to horsey hospital today for operation tomorrow. So lots of good vibes please for him.

We have a chestnut jack at the yard i work at and we used 2 have a bay jack as well! very confusing! i also know of a piebald jack and a another bay jack! Obviously a very popular name!
