Just been reading a post from a man concerned about the looks he gets when wearing johds...got me thinking, how many men actually use this forum?? i have rarely seen a post from a man so could be interesting!!
Would like to hope that horsey men arent a dying breed!!

This thread raises an interesting point about the equine community in this country, why is it so highly populated by women?

It really struck me when we were in Menorca last year. Whilst looking around to buy a foal (totally unplanned and unexpected souvenir), it struck me at how much the equine community there was, in the majority, male. I saw very few female riders at all. Owning and riding a horse there was seen as a sign of status and masculinity.

Don't get much time to post as usually out teaching others to ride till late in the evening. Alwaysbroke, my OH keeps me updated on whats going on on here IMO she spends far too much time om here
