How many of us have recentley bought linseed?

Me! Been on it for nearly 2 months now! There is no stockist near me, so I use Thunderbrook delivered off the internet, and although it is expensive with the added yea sacc and other things, I reckon I'm saving on supplements.

Looks like there are a few suppliers out there...I contacted my local agricentre whom have got me cal mag in the past, however they phoned me back with a price of £64 for a 20kg sack of micronised linseed!!! needless to say i have ordered mine from Charnwood.I remember my vet years ago recommended Linseed oil for my mares scurfy coat...but im sure the recommended dose was about 300ml....which would not be cost effective & i never did try it.She is still quite scurfy so it will be very interesting to see if it does make a difference.x

I've always ordered mine from Charnwood. In fact, the latest sack was delivered to me here at the office today and is sitting beside my desk. I only need to feed it to my 31 year old pasture ornament, so one sack last ages. Not very scientific I know, but I feed her two large handfuls per day (and I've got big hands!)

I have used it for years. Very good for condition, coat, skin, hooves, joints and digestive system.

I too get mine from Charnwood and four bags along with one bag of brewers yeast and one of seaweed which makes the postage very reasonable and that will do my two for a year and it does keep if stored in a dry container.

I feed a scoop which is about a coffee mug twice a day. It works well with my system of only feeding fibre.
