How many of you actually own horses?

Bought my first horse at the age of 32 - couldnt afford one before then and parents could never afford a pony for me - the fact that I paid for him with my own hard earned money made the purchase all the sweeter - now on horse number 2 and cant imagine my life without a horse in it :D
 
I have 5 altogether.

I've got a heavyweight cob mare, her foal that came with her when I bought her (she's now 2), two tbx youngster (one is gelded the other is entire but not for long ;) ) and a horrid, grumpy section A that the kids won't let me sell!
 
I own 2, Captain, a KWPN Gelderlander who is 17 and a half, an ex-professional CDE horse he is semi retired now as he has ha a hard working life. And Fany, an Ardennes (trait ardennais) she is 15 now by very low mileage having been a show horse and broodmare in her past life.

We used to have a lovely standard bred at our yard I really fell for him!

3 my old grand prix horse ... Now retired as his hocks are arthritic and he doesn't do quiet hacking... His field companion (a fat section a who is perpetually on a diet) and my hairy cob who perpetually tries to let section a out of his tiny paddock...(humph) and who has chucked me off more than any horse I have previously owned...
