How many of you honestly........

No I dont groom thoroughly daily. Mine live out 24/7 so you're not meant to, plus kind of pointless because mine just go and roll in mud straight after anyway! I do try to pick feet out daily though and always do with 2 of them to spray with thrush spray stuff.

I do! All 3 of mine get groomed daily. They are out during the day and in at night and they are not clipped yet. They get feet picked out 2x a day and groomed when they come in at night when I'm changing their rugs. It's a good reason to check them all over for any new lumps/bumps/cuts and scrapes and I checked their legs when I'm doing their feet for heat/lumps etc. I only do manes/tails about once a week because I don't want to thin them out. I've got a TB, Arab and QH and am the most paranoid OTT owner ever!!

Ours are all clipped so get hot cloth-ed when they come back from exercise, feet washed off, picked out and oiled, manes and tails brushed. That way there's very little to do on hunting mornings other than plaiting and a quick hot cloth before tacking up. (Yep, I've got to admit to having OCD tendencies and even when I've come in p***ed I'll still fold my clothes and leave them in a neat pile before I go to bed!)

Pfft my poor neglected horse gets a quick brush over before i ride!

He gets a thorough grooming about once a week, and a bath before shows in summer. He's full clipped all year though so not much hassle

Highland lives out all year so coming into winter try to lay off the grooming too mucha lthough obv before doing something with him he gets the mud brushed off and i tidy up his mane and tail. i am a huge believer in grooming come the Spring though and as soon as the winter coat starts coming out its marathon grooming sessions until late autumn again!
