I have just bought a new airowear one - v comfy!

I wear it for hacking and jumping. When i first got my mare and she was just backed and very green I wore it all the time - in school, hacking etc - and it certainly helped break a few falls. Invested in a new one as my old Rodney Powell was old and I had a few falls in it and as one of the older style didn't fit particularly well - the new ones are hugely improved and fit so much better.

I can't afford to be of work or not driving.

i own one and i wear it so often i have outgrown it since the last time i wore it

I put other as I only wear it if I'm riding a young horse or a horse I know can be a bit 'dangerous' I would wear for XC if I had a horse suitable to do it on.

I have a Rodney Powell. It's sat in my car in case I ever need it, but I haven't worn it for almost two years (since I gave up jumping). If I started jumping again, I would never go XC without it on but I wear it about 50% of the time when SJ depending on what I'm jumping, how horse is feeling etc. Stupid way to do it really, but there you go. I don't plan on jumping again in the near future so it will stay in my car!

i own one - a racesafe - and wear it all the time even if we are just going for a slow hack , though i have been tempeted to leave it off on hot summer days !

I have an airowear one- Use it when the rules say so, when breaking in babies, and am thinking of using it all the time driven XC.

With one horse I wear it just for XC, with another i wear it every time i ride as at the moment he is unpredictable, didn't wear it last time i went hacking though! I actually don't mind wearing mine! lol! I've got a Kan Teq and love it, feels like your not wearing one tbh!! Haven't worn it riding the coblets, but if i went xc i probs would!

Mine's just broken so have to buy a new one. I fancy the new airowear one. I wear it for all jumping, it's like a safety blanket and I go to pieces without it. I forgot it at a showjumping comp a while ago and fell off as I couldn't ride properly without it!

I own one but I've only worn it for hunter trials and a few times after my youngster bronced me off. I feel like I'm in a straight jacket.
I work at a riding school and understandably, most of the children wear them. I don't know how they learn to ride when they have to sit so rigid! A few of them have said that on the occasions they haven't had them on their bodies flop and they can't sit up straight!
