I use ebay more than retailers.
Still to get some megabargins but nice to save a few pennies here and there.
Plus it saves me the hassle of filling out my details again if I haven't bought from that website before.

I use ebay for riding clobber for daughter too. She grows so fast and a show season is so short. Last year she had a lovely cutaway jacket and waistcoat. We used it for a season and sold it back on ebay.
I sell horsey stuff to as its easier. I tried a carboot once but 90% of the people hadn't got a clue what I was selling!

No-

Most of the stuff on there is being sold at the same price or more than most retailers. Ebay has been destroyed by allowing 'shops' on there, and most people trying honestly to auction off their stuff just gets lost in five pages of the same thing at RRP +

Yes, I have purchased and sold quite a lot on ebay. I dont mind the shops, at least you can compare prices easily and its not too hard to look for the real sellers

As I don't have to buy stuf for Ellie I've been getting more bits for me and my youngest lad.

Recently I have bought myself show jods and shirt for under £15 for both inc p + p and am looking for a pair of long boots now

Got my youngest a lovely pair of jods with a suede seat for a fiver

This year I bought some Bioflow wraps for £35 and two turn-out rugs for £40 in total - everything was clean and in near-perfect condition. I like a bargain at the best of times, but as my horse is on borrowed time (has been for the last 10 years mind you!!) I'm reluctant to part with loads of dosh if she might be gone in the next 6 months.

Me me me! just got a lovely brand new raspberry pink leadrope for £2.49 - came yesterday. I buy show gear ( i have a selection for all eventualities!) and sell what i no longer use- daughters show gear will all go on there in spring to fund new show gear...OH just bought a synthetic saddle as his was nicked and my all-time bestest ever buy was a brown leather county dressage saddle which fitted my horse like a glove...(until it got nicked).......postie knows me well, hides my e-bay parcels in the recycling bin if im out so i don't have to keep going into town to the depo to collect it!

I buy some items, but not that many, and I have rarely sold on ebay. I have very often seen items sell for far more than their RRP, which I think is quite funny!!!

I buy and sell on Ebay a lot, mainly equestrian stuff. Im planning on selling some of my horse rugs on there soon.

TBH though if its just cheapo items then I wouldnt buy off ebay, Id go to my local shop for stuff like headcollars or everyday things like studs etc.

I've been buying on eBay since the site started up and only had 30 or 40 horsey items listed at any one time!! Kind of miss those days. But I'm still going strong all these years later. Can't seem to get as many bargains I used to be able to, but there are still some out there to be found

I dont buy as much as I did but I have bought a lot of stuff in the past. Got some fab second quality mattes numnahs/saddlecloths for everyday. My horse gets through brushing boots like there is no tomorrow so have picked up good quality ones for half price. I have also bought brand new rugs at way less than retail price because they are last seasons designs/colours etc.
Also got some bargain jackets! I got a faded Toggi waxed jacket for £25 (shop soiled) and within a week it was filthy! Did I care! NO!!!!!!!I dont care whether they are last season! If they keep me warm and dry they will do!

We have also bought 4 cars off ebay! LOL!!

Since Snipe programs have been available it has lost its appeal though!
