hae been able to ride? im booorred of the snow we still have a foot or more of icy hard snow and so havnt been able to ride for more than two weeks...ive taken him for some walks up the feilds but thats all.

Im also sick of filling up water buckets and washing out feed buckets that freeze the second the waters tipped out. Aaah! i want the summer!! lol

Me, and now the snow has finally started to go is leaving even more ice and more snow is due later in the week.

I haven't been able to really ride in the fields either as by the time I tack up it is snowing again and I am unable to get him wet as he lives out with rugs on.

As much as I have loved the snow, it has depressed me as my horse had 4 months off and I started bringing him back into work only to be faced with going on two week off with the weather.

Been a good two weeks since anybody on yard of fiity horses has done anything with horse. Roads veery slippy and schools about half a foot deep in snow and frozen underneath. I have decided I hate the snow.

have ridden every day in the menage and one of the fields, and hacked out bar one day of ice!!!!

havn't been able to ride any of mine for nearly 2 weeks, and there doesn't seem to be an end to this cold weather! The arena is frozen and covered with a layer of snow, and the roads are so icy I can't even walk down them myself in grippy walking boots, let alone rode a shod horse!!!!!

I thank the gods (and YO) for our indoor school. But poor George is so BORED BORED BORED with the indoor (but I'm very grateful for it as we can't get to our winter turn out as track is treacherous and the YO won't let us use nearer fields - even when covered in snow).

box to beach last weekend both days, beach xmas eve, hack down main road xmas day and boxing day, hack on lanes yesterday, beach again today....luckily the beach is on a bus route so road to it is gritted.

My boy is finally deciding beach is less exciting than he thought!

well, I have my own indoor school,
but it gets boring, as roads are a no go!! and we have had snow here for over 2 weeks now, and ice, yuck!!
they are all good, thought, and dont mind being schooled,!!
