How many round bales??

How many round bales would i need per month 2 are out in day and hayed at night and one lives out all the time ?? how many round bales do i need ?

Hi Kate,
Last year, bearing in mind it was a cold winter and very snowy and we were virtually feeding hay ad lib, I used 12 round bales for 2 horses living out but coming in for the worst of the weather. Hope that helps, started feeding in September though as it was dry and there was no grass left.

I would say 2 per month but it really does depend on how much you give them at night.
