How many rugs do you have for one horse?

I will layer them as and when.......

I will hopefully be purchasing a HW turnout when the time comes...but it really is quite mild at the moment.

Everyone knows you cannnot have too many rugs!! I have

3 x fleeces
1 x waffle weave
2 x wool show rugs (for posh days out)
3 x stable rugs (1 full neck, one LW, one HW)
3 x turn outs (LW MW HW)

10, that's not many

- BSJAlove has way more. Am off to buy another

Thermatex, fly sheets, exercise blankets, turnouts.

1x mediumweight stable
1x lightweight stable
2x cooler (one has seen better days and only used on yard to keep other one for best/being seen in

I wouldn't have two normally)

So that's 8 in total. Is that bad

In my defence he does use them all at some point or another during the year.

My beast has 6 turnouts, 1 stable rug, 3 fleeces and a fly rug, so 11 in total which isn't too bad.

The two ponies have around 7 or 8 each.

I also have a couple of random sized rugs that don't fit any of them. I'm sure they'll come in handy some time!

Yep, mine average 10 each, and that's not including the spare fleeces for wash days, the under rugs etc. I have 6 that wear rugs, I don't want to do the math!

1 x show rug - was bargain so he neeeeeeeeeeeeded it!!

and they both have an excercise sheet each.

May get a fly sheet for the BGL for next year.

OMG..... far too many.....
all have got.... 2 thick turnout, 1 thin turnout....
but then there are the travel rugs, thick and thin, sweat rugs, dressing gowns..lol ok toweling ones for after bathing when its not so warm..(which luckily is not often here)......plus ive got stable rugs, which I dont use as they all live out now....and all the ones that Moonshine and Harley grew out of as they got bigger....I think at last count I had over 80
